"Next month the second novel in The Clone Wars series, Wild Space, will be published. Although written by Star Wars newcomer Karen Miller, Karen is herself an established author with two Stargate tie-in books and eight original novels published. Her first novel, The Innocent Mage, was a finalist in Australia's Aurealis Awards for Excellence in Speculative Fiction (Fantasy Division), while two other of Karen's books, Empress (of Mijak) and The Riven Kingdom, were selected for The Tiptree Award Honor List, the annual gender-exploring science fiction literary prize.
